Asia CliC held a Workshop in Lanzhou, China (29 - 31 March, 2009) on Asian Cryospheric Data Products. This workshop involved 18 scientists from 7 countries, including China, Japan, Kyrgyz Republic, Mongolia, Nepal, Russia, and the USA. The main objectives of the workshop were to update progess made on snow-, glacier-, and frozen-ground data over Asian. More specifically the workshop would
- Identify the present condition of archiving of snow cover-, glacier-, and frozen-ground data;
- Identify the potential data and develop a complete catalogue;
- Develop a data-rescue and archiving plan.
